Who we are

NextGenAI is a free, student-led initiative that teaches artificial intelligence to young learners. It is operated by Nathan Riyon Leitan, Founder and Executive Director. Our website is nextgenerationsai.com. You can reach us at nathanleitan@nextgenerationsai.com.

What we collect

  • Information you give us. If you sign up for our newsletter, create a member account, or use the contact form, we collect the details you type in, such as your name and email address.
  • Course activity. Member areas may record that you have signed in and which course pages you have opened.
  • Prompt Lab progress. The Prompt Lab saves your answers only in your own browser (local storage) so you can pick up where you left off. We do not receive these answers. Clearing your browser data removes them.
  • Basic website data. Our website host, Squarespace, collects standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, and uses cookies to run the site and measure traffic.

How we use it

  • To email you the newsletter and course updates you asked for.
  • To give you access to course material.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve them.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the services that run the site, which is Squarespace (hosting, member accounts, forms, newsletter, analytics), plus YouTube, where our course videos are hosted. These providers handle data under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Children and students

Our lessons are made for young learners, and we want families to feel safe. Young visitors are welcome to browse the lessons. We ask families to be involved when a student signs up for the newsletter or a member account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parent or guardian permission. If you believe a child has given us information without permission, email us and we will delete it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar tools that Squarespace provides to keep pages working and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some features may stop working.

How long we keep data

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete it or remove identifying details. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
  • Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing nathanleitan@nextgenerationsai.com. Nathan Leitan, Founder and Executive Director, handles every deletion request personally.

Security

We rely on the security of our hosting provider and limit who on the team can see member information. No website can promise perfect security.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to other sites, such as YouTube and Instagram. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date at the top.
